Surviving winters in Maine can be challenging at times, especially with cold temps and strong winds. But when you have a dog, they undoubtedly need that daily stroll and outdoor exploration time.
Below is a list of dog friendly trails that your four legged friends might enjoy:
- The Eastern Trail: There are many options here. Not only can you access the trail from Eastern Road, but also from Pine Point Road and the Old Blue Point Road. When entering the parking lot at the Old Blue Point Road, walk through the cemetery and you will find wonderful trails through the woods, along the river. Click here to view a trail map.
- Fuller Farm: Parking for approximately a dozen cars with trails through the field and along the falls. Lovely walk with or without snow shoes on. Fuller Farm trail map click here.
- Broadturn Farm: Parking onsite with a nice loop on the backside of the Farm through the woods and along the stream. Broadturn Farm trail map click here.
